国産モジュラーシンセの祭典　P4M

国産のモジュラーシンセメーカーに焦点を当てた展示・即売会『Patching For Modular（P4M）』

モジュラーシンセには「ユーロラック」という国際規格がある。この規格にのっとり、世界各国の様々なメーカーからモジュラーシンセが作られているが、日本も例外ではない。

現在、日本を拠点とするモジュラーメーカー・ビルダーを数えると両手では足りないほど。そこで「いま、国産メーカーが一堂に会するイベントがあれば面白いんじゃないか？」と立ち上がったのが『Patching For Modular』だ。

会場はCircus Tokyo。1Fラウンジではショップ展示、B1メインフロアではメーカー・ビルダーのモジュラーシンセ展示・即売を行う。

また、メインフロアではメーカーによるモジュラーシンセの実演、セミナー型マシンライブ「SHOW ME YOUR MIND」、デモンストレーションライブなどのイベントも併せて開催する。

Patching For Modular (P4M) is an exhibition and pop-up market with a focus on domestic modular synth makers in Japan.

There is a standardized format for modular synths called Eurorack, and companies all over the world are making unique modules under this standard—and Japan is no exception.

Currently, there are more Japanese modular synth makers and builders than one can count on both hands. That’s what sparked the idea: “Wouldn't it be cool to bring all the domestic brands together in one place?”—and that’s how Patching For Modular was born.

The event will take place at Circus Tokyo. The 1st floor lounge will feature shops and product displays, while the main floor on the basement level will host booths where Japanese makers and builders show and sell their modular synths.

There will also be live demos by the makers themselves, a seminar-style hardware-based live session called "SHOW ME YOUR MIND," as well as performance-style demonstrations throughout the day.
